District 1 Supervisor Eric Mar will be hosting a photographers reception on October 16, 2009 in his office -- Room 284 -- in City Hall, from 5:30 to 8 pm.  This event is open to the public.  We are also looking for photographers who would like to participate.  We want photographers who live in the Richmond District or photographers who take photographs of people or places in the Richmond District.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Lin-Shao Chin at linshao.chin@sfgov.org -- and we&#039;ll get back to you.

You all turned out and were wonderful - turnout exceeded our expectations and it was just a joy to see so many families and children having fun on car free streets.  We can&#039;t wait for Sept 6th - we&#039;re so happy to have the Great Highway host our last two events of the year.  Thank your Supervisors for all their help and let them know if you&#039;d like to have Sunday Streets back next year. Maybe going until 4 pm instead of 2 pm?

		<description>Nice coverage. Props to you for knowing it was Parliment! He played some James Brown as well. The thing I liked most is that we will rinse and repeat at Ocean Beach shortly for the last in the series. I did some volunteer time (yes you can sign up volunteers make this thing run) and everyone was happy except the 4 wheel folks. I SO enjoyed saying, sorry the road is closed today you will have to turn around.</description>
