<description>The final day was unfortunately much much much colder, and back to normal with the SF summer fog rolling in, but the performers warmed us up.
My office is continuing today to work with Martha Cohen from the Mayor&#039;s Office, Nick Kinsey from Rec and Park Dept, Captn Rich Correia and Officer Jill Connely of the the Richmond Dist Police Station, and Another Planet Entertainment to address concerns of our residents.
The organizers have committed to restore the park to a better condition it was in before the festival began.
The Rec and Park Dept for our City will also benefit from the $950,000 + 10% of total ticket sales [or $1/ticket, which ever is higher]. Next year Rec and Parks will get $1 million + and $1.05 million + in 2011. In addition. Last years concert brought in $815,000 to the City. But this year&#039;s support for rec and park may nearly double last years amount.
I have been talking with Sunset Supervisor Carmen Chu about holding a hearing to get more feedback and suggestions to minimize the disruption next year to the residents around GG Park.
