San Francisco, 1958 (video)

A good friend sent this video to me today. It’s not related to the Richmond District, but it’s a neat, somewhat poignant clip of one man’s visit to the city back in 1958. Aside from the clothes and cars, not much has really changed. The music is “Alone in Kyoto” by Air. Enjoy,

    I’m doing research for a book that takes place in 1958 in San Francisco so this was wonderful to feel a little ambiance and reminded me of some scenes I could add. Thanks for posting.
