Next Thursday night, the Balboa Theater will screen a highly acclaimed surf movie called Modern Collective (film website).
The film follows six surfers as they set out to alter perceptions about modern day surfing. They don’t jet ski miles out into the ocean to catch the biggest waves; instead they hug the shore, making the most of the smaller waves. Starring some of the world’s best surfers, including Dane Reynolds, Dion Agius, Yadin Nicol, Mitch Coleborn, Dusty Payne and Jordy Smith.
