Holiday greetings (and post #500!)

Hi Richmondsfblog readers,

Just a quick note to let you know that we’ll be “off the grid” for a bit during the holidays and getting some rest. That means the blog may not have as many articles as usual, and it’s likely we’ll miss some news here or there.

I want to thank everyone for your support this year. The blog’s been a lot of fun and it’s your feedback and support that keeps us going.

We live in a great neighborhood full of wonderful history, stories and personalities. So it’s no surprise that since the blog launched in May, we’ve posted 500 stories. Who says the Richmond is a sleepy neighborhood? Certainly not me!

Special thanks to all my “cub” reporters out there – David, Wolfgang, Mom – and the rest of you who send me news, photos and event information. This is a blog about a community as much as it is about a neighborhood, and without your help, I wouldn’t be able to keep on top of everything.

Thank you and happy holidays! We can’t wait to see what happens next year,

Sarah B. & Chelsea
