While it is a little strange that--by the looks of things, at least--the Burma Superstar people will soon own everything on Clement east of 5th Ave., I thought the previous Eats was really bad. Everything there tasted weirdly the same--the eggs, the bacon, the toast--and by "same" I mean "completely lacking in flavor." I like that the new version highlights dishes with locally-grown ingredients; I'm looking forward to trying out the place, and will this coming Sunday with another Inner-Richmond friend. I’m excited about the new Eats!
