Opening night gala for Bouquets to Art at the de Young
RichmondSFBlog reader Linda was lucky enough to get an invite to the opening night of the Bouquets to Art exhibition at the de Young on Monday night. She said the food was scrumptious and the flower arrangements were gorgeous and remarkably clever. There were even floral fashions to fawn over.
The exhibition, which displays fresh flower arrangements alongside pieces in the museum’s collection, is themed this year with the upcoming Impressionism exhibitions from the Musée d’Orsay that will open at the de Young in May.
And remember, you have until noon Tuesday to enter a drawing for a chance to win tickets to the exhibition which runs Tuesday through Saturday, April 20 – 24, from 9:30am to 5:15pm with extended hours on Friday, April 23, until 8:45pm.
Special thanks to Linda for the photos.
