In food news this week, EaterSF reports that the popular (but hard to get to) Market street Waffle Mania kiosk may be finding a second home in Golden Gate Park. It’s unknown when exactly they’ll open but they told EaterSF that their truck will be “near the museums.”

I popped in Toy Boat Cafe at 5th and Clement tonight for a summer solstice ice cream; the place was packed. They had signs up advertising $1 Mondays. Get a small coffee, single espresso or tea for just $1 – all day and night on Mondays.
