Want to be a Golden Gate Park volunteer? Find out how on Jan. 26

On Wednesday, the Conservatory of Flowers will host the second annual Golden Gate Park Volunteer Fair, a gathering of the park’s various organizations who will be on hand to present volunteer opportunities.

If you’ve been interested in volunteering in the park, this is great chance to find out what’s available. Whether you want to lead tours, work with animals, educate kids, or just help keep the park looking good, the fair is a great place to find out how.

Representatives from Golden Gate Park organizations including the California Academy of Sciences, de Young Museum, Conservatory of Flowers, San Francisco Botanical Garden, San Francisco Recreation & Parks, SF Parks Trust and other affiliated community groups will be on hand from 10am to 2pm to provide information, answer questions, present interactive displays and network.
