Learn how to write a perfect love letter, Feb. 9
It’s that time of year when a Hallmark holiday forces you to dust off your romantic tools and wax poetic.
If the thought of that is making your palms sweat, don’t fret! The Bazaar Cafe is offering a free workshop next Wednesday night on how to write a perfect love letter.
Janet Gallin and Tresa Eyres, hosts of the Love Letters Live radio show (formerly on KUSF and now looking for a new radio home), will show you how to capture the essence of the people who have touched your life, identify what you feel about them, and express it in your own voice.
Take a listen to their November 17th, 2010 show in which guest JuanCarlos, who founded a nonprofit to assist immigrant families, writes a love letter of thanks to his wife:
Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.
And if you’re ready to profess your love immediately after the workshop – and before you get cold feet – bring stationery and a stamp for a post-workshop mailbox run.
The free workshop begins at 7pm at the Bazaar Cafe, 5927 California Street.
Turn on your heart light,
Sarah B. xoxo

In the past year or so, they also added additional programming like free “How To” nights where patrons could learn everything from how to build a bike from scratch to how to write a perfect love letter.
