Early birds: RDNC announces their summer camp schedule

The Richmond District Neighborhood Center just announced their 2011 summer camp schedule. This year they’ll be offering three summer camps to match any children’s needs and interests.

First up is the Solstice Camp (full day) which runs from June 13 to July 22, and offers a varied curriculum based on arts, academics, fitness, and literacy through interactive activities and field trips. For kids entering grades 1 through 5 in September 2011. The cost is $900 per child, $850 for siblings.

If your child is more into sports, they might want to check out the afternoon sport camp which runs from June 6 to July 22. The half day camp runs from 1pm until 6pm every day, offering sports, physical activity, team-building, sportsmanship and choices. Rates start at $150 per child, per week. For kids entering grades 1 through 5 in September 2011.

And for the creative child, RDNC offers Art Camp. It’s a morning only camp that offers dance, design, photography, writing, and theater taught by professional, local artists. It runs from 8:30am until 12:30pm daily and costs $150 per week. May 31 through August 5, for kids age 5 to 11.

Summer can’t get here fast enough, right kids? 😉
