  1. Note the interesting spike in auto break-ins for Sunday, 2/20/11 early AM (the 3-day weekend).
It appears that the prevailing pattern for these vandals is to hit the streets after the rains let up.
It was that Saturday night/Sunday AM when the heavy rains finally moved on.
(that, and we had some great neighborhood watchers out en force…people finally sick of this $h!#)
I guess auto vandals don’t like to get wet, so they sit out the rainy days?
Be aware, be vigilant. Stop this scum!

I have this useful # programmed on my phone: 553-0123
It’s the SFPD non-emergency # (so you don’t have to worry about interferring with real 911 emergencies)
Get suspect descriptions as accurate as possible…every little detail helps: logos, patterns, styles, etc.
Keep in mind that what looks like one clothing color in those reddish-brown street lights at night might really be something else (if you’re viewing from a distance).

  2. Good advice SFriscoKid. I have added that number to my phone now too.
