“How To Build a Bike From Scratch” at the Bazaar Cafe, March 9

In their continuing series of “how-to” nights, the Bazaar Cafe brings us “How To Build a Bike From Scratch” next Wednesday night.

If you’re been thinking about building a bike, or even ordering a custom one, here’s your chance to learn all the finer points of quality bike construction.

The session will be led by Peter Verdone, a super talented designer of bicycles and skateboards who constructs his bike frames from raw materials. He’ll give an overview of the different ways of building bikes, design and fitting concepts, the tools required, how to draw a bike plan, component selection, and much more.

Check out the bike part porn below from Verdone’s Flickr stream. 😉

The free class takes place on Wednesday, March 9 from 7pm until 9pm at the Bazaar Cafe, 5927 California Street near 22nd Avenue.
