Check out this segment from CBS 5’s Bay Sunday show in January. It features our very own Blissful Bites, a bakery located at 397 Arguello Boulevard, offering homemade cakes, morning pastries, tarts, pies, bars (I hear the lemon are to die for!), and cookies.
In the clip, host Sydnie Kohara interviews Blissful Bites chef and owner Seungho Yoo, and pastry chef Victoria Deffis-Whittaker. They’re an unlikely pairing for a traditional bakery but it sounds like they’re making mouth watering delicacies. “It smells soooo good!” coos Kohara.
Kohara asked Yoo what makes his shop different from other bakeries. “Because I put my heart into my pastries,” he replied.
Yoo also calls on his two daughters to taste test his new creations. “If they like it then I know it’s going to be a success.”
Blissful Bites is open Monday through Friday 6:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturday from 7am to 5:30pm (closed Sundays).
