Poll: Which hairstyle works best on Supervisor Eric Mar?

Image #2 by davegolden

Public image for politicians is oh so very important. Even a new tie color or change in hairstyle can ignite a media frenzy.

Today I clicked over to look at photos from the Institute of Aging’s grand opening last Saturday and came across one of our neighborhood politico, Richmond District Supervisor Eric Mar. And lo and behold, he has a new hairstyle (#1). Why wasn’t I alerted??

So of course I started digging back to look at the various hairstyles I’ve seen our Supe sporting in the last couple of years. He’s tried the relaxed look before (#2) where it was even bordering on long. Surf’s up!

3 and 4 above are pretty similar, but 4 seems to be a little longer on top. I felt 5 deserved special recognition because of the well-placed wisp across his forehead. And 6, well, that’s definitely the power look, inspired by our former hair-iffic mayor perhaps?

So readers, which hairstyle do you prefer on our Supervisor? The all-business, slick backed look, or the gentler, more relaxed ‘do? Please weigh in:
