After the vertical sign on the Alexandria Theater was loosened by high winds last Wednesday, firefighters came out to temporarily secure the sign.
David H. took another walk by the theater today and snapped some pics of the scaffolding that has been erected around the theater’s vertical ALEXANDRIA sign. He said cable anchors have also been added to the sign, securing it to the building.
Top portions of the sign have been opened up, so it’s likely that they’ll be doing more extensive repairs and/or restoration.
