On Friday, the critically acclaimed documentary “Make Believe” opens at the Balboa Theater. The film follows six of the world’s best young magicians as they pursue the title of Teen World Champion, leading viewers on their personal journeys of transformation through magic. It won Best Documentary Jury Prize at the LA Film Festival.
In celebration of the documentary’s Northern California debut, the Balboa will host live magician performances on Friday, Saturday and next Thursday:
