CAPTAIN SHARON FERRIGNO’S MESSAGE
This week I met with Phil Ginsberg of the Cities Park and Recreation Department and his key staff members Denny and Marcus. We discussed Golden Gate Park and will continue to work together to insure the Park is a place for everyone to enjoy.

As mentioned in one of the noteworthy incidents below, there is an uptick citywide of “The Herbal Doctor Scam” these criminals target older Asian women. If you are aware of an elderly neighbor or family member who may become a target, please take the time to have a discussion with them and let them know these people are trying to steal their savings.

  1. What? Those jerks deserve a swift kick in the butt. And If I see any of this going down, I’ll be the one to give it to them.

  2. What a disgrace, I hope they’ll catch these scummy people soon! They ought to be in jail. Really feel bad for the elderly woman victim, hope she has kids to help her out after such terrible financial loss.

  3. Interesting…I mentioned this to my parents in LA, they said that this type of “scam” happened to my father’s grandmother in China during the cultural revolution! She lost all her business fortune, of course.

  4. If you do witness this incident, you should ask them to follow you to get your $1m at the police station on 6th!

  5. i like how diverse in age range and diversity that all these criminals are.
