CAPTAIN SHARON FERRIGNO’S MESSAGE
There has been an up-tick in burglaries, both garage and residential. Please make sure to lock your homes and alert neighbors if you will be away on vacation. It is best to keep your homes well lit and free of shrubbery that prevents neighbors and police from a clear view of your home. If you see a suspicious person or someone that you don’t know exiting a home or garage carrying property please take note of the person’s physical description and notify us immediately. Many of the garage burglaries are in multi-unit buildings so please communicate with your fellow tenants to ensure the garage doors are secured every day. Please make sure to report these crimes as one of the tactics we use is to review crime profiles and dedicate resources using that data.

Mark your calendars for Queen’s Day, April 27, 2013, a Dutch Holiday amidst the tulips at Murphy’s Windmill in Golden Gate Park. Enjoy the spring weather and this lovely cultural event in our very own backyard with food and music. The event will be from 11am to 5pm.

A gentle reminder to all, April is Distracted Drivers Month and Richmond Station officers have been enforcing violations and will continue to do so.
