CAPTAIN SHARON FERRIGNO’S MESSAGE
With school back in session Richmond Station has been working side by side with our local schools to ease into the school year. We welcome Officer Cesar Perez to the school car assignment. Cesar and Officer Ramesh Shangaran work closely with our schools and our youth. Both officers bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise that is a great fit with their role as our school resource officers.

College is also back in full swing. Officers from Richmond Station have been working closely with Alcohol Beverage Control to curb underage drinking. Last week we cited 10 minors inside a local bar on Geary Blvd and we cited 7 other bar patrons for various quality of life violations including drinking in public, public urination and open container violations. We will continue to be out enforcing the “Good Neighbor” policy and holding bars and night life venues accountable

Our next Community meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 6pm. It will be in the Community Room, here at Richmond Station, 461 6th Ave.

  1. Thanks to the really nice officer who came to the gate of our building last week – he noticed a car trunk open on our street, checked to make sure the car wasn’t obviously broken into, figured out the address of the owner, and came to find her to let her know! THIS Is great community service – and very appreciated!
