Long ago in a galaxy far, far away…
In honor of the upcoming Star Wars release on December 17 (which will be playing at our very own Balboa Theater – get tix in advance here!), blog reader Scott sent us these photos he snapped in 2013 of a Star Wars photo shoot that was going on at Sutro Baths.
“Went for a walk on a beautiful summer night and randomly came upon three people in top notch Boba Fett costumes (complete with built-in speakers for when they talk) and a woman dressed as Princess Leia doing a photo shoot on the Sutro Baths ruins. When asked why they were doing this, one of the photographers replied, “Because they have sweet costumes.” I took these with my phone, and the scenery and lighting did all the work.”
