SUSPICIOUS OCCURRENCE
04/20/2016 8:44 PM
461 6th Ave
A person walked into Richmond Station wanting to make a report about a failed drug test. The person stated they frequently go to a friend’s house to smoke marijuana. The person told the Officer she went to her doctors for her annual drug test and she failed the test, with the results showing traces of cocaine. The person was adamant she didn’t do cocaine and someone must have “sprinkled cocaine into her marijuana.” The person believes that by filing a report with the police, it “proves to her doctor she was not aware of the origin of the cocaine in her system.”
If this story confuses you, you are not alone. Richmond Station officers continue to scratch their heads on this one!

ROBBERY WITH GUN
04/20/2016 10:30 PM
Martin Luther King Dr. & Cross Over Dr.
A male and female victim were in the park located at MLK and Cross Over Dr. sitting on the swings, when they were approached by three men. The suspects asked the victims if they had a lighter. Feeling very uncomfortable, the victims told the suspects they didn’t have a lighter. The suspects then walked up to the female victim and brandished a gun while demanding her phone. The female victim told them she didn’t have it and at that time one of the suspects searched her clothing and then grabbed her purse from the bench. The suspects next turned their attention on the male victim and asked him where his wallet was. One suspect “frisked” the male victim and took his cell phone out of his pocket. All three suspects fled eastbound into Golden Gate Park as one yelled, “Stay there or I will shoot you!”
Suspect description: Three black male adults, 20-25 years old, all wearing dark clothing.

ARREST: POSSESSION OF LOADED FIREARM
04/20/2016 12:45 PM
Geary Blvd. & Spruce St.
Dispatch received a call regarding a man on a Muni bus with a gun tucked into his waistband. Officers arrived on scene and located the male suspect. An Officer located a loaded handgun tucked into the back of the suspects’ pants. Officers quickly secured the firearm and placed the suspect under arrest. The man did not possess a valid permit to carry a concealed weapon and was later cited and released at Richmond Station.

ROBBERY WITH FORCE
04/22/2016 2:36 AM
Anza & 36th Ave.
Two calls came into dispatch simultaneously, one regarding a man chasing a car possibly with a sword or stick and another regarding a robbery. When Officers arrived on scene they located a man wearing no pants. The man had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath. Officers observed an umbrella nearby, a weapon consistent in appearance with what was used to chase after and hit the car. When Officers spoke with the man he denied chasing a car or hitting anything with the umbrella. Officers spoke with two of the man’s friends who said they heard him yelling from outside. The friends said the man was yelling that he had just been robbed and was running around with the umbrella acting extremely agitated. Officers talked with the man who said two male suspects approached him and one punched him on the left side of his face. The man said he was then pushed to the ground and the suspects pulled off his pants, containing his cell phone and wallet. The man said the two suspects got into a car and fled the area. The story given by the person who contacted police regarding their car being chased and hit with an object varied greatly from the story the man with no pants told.
The investigation is ongoing…
