On Wednesday morning around 11am, a fully-clothed woman was pulled from the water at Ocean Beach near the intersection of Great Highway and Lincoln Avenue.

National Park Service officials pulled the victim, an Asian woman in her 40’s, to shore from about 20 yards out. Emergency responders performed CPR and a tweet from the SFFD at 11:16am said “GOOD RESPONSE FROM CPR being taken to local Hospital Critical Condition.”

But authorities later confirmed that she died at the hospital. Her identity has not been determined.
