Biking around the neighborhood this weekend I came across several summer day camps that run in the Richmond. Neighborhood Day Camp: Urban Adventures

This fun day camp will incorporate environmental education, community building and cultural growth with development of self-esteem, leadership and physical skills. Participate in group activities, community outings and outdoor excursions. The cost of the camp includes the cost of all outings. Please bring a bag lunch and bottle of water to each day of camp.

Tree Frog Treks

An introduction to baseball fundamentals, including instruction and drills in batting, fielding, and base running. Learn the rules of the game and practice offensive and defensive strategies. For beginners and advanced players.

Rossi Playground Sports Camps: Soccer & Football
Want your child to kick the winning goal, score a basket, catch a touchdown or just have fun getting outside and doing sports? Neighborhood sports camps teach beginning and intermediate skills to youth in a fun environment. Each week focuses on two sports, which our instructors have years of experience teaching.

Explorers at the Full Life Christian Center

Each week at Explorers, children will have the opportunity to learn the basics in various art forms and sports. Some of the subjects covered include visual art, music, drama, sculpting, print – making, photo and video, baseball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, soccer, and football. In addition, children will enjoy weekly field trips and have the opportunity to showcase what they have learned and created at the end of each week.

Sharon Art Studio: ART-IN-THE-PARK
Art-in-the-Park is a summer art enrichment program offered at the Sharon Art Studio. A.I.P. offers students instruction in a wide variety of artistic disciplines such as wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics, stained and fused glass, jewelry, drawing, watercolor, pastel, and bookmaking. The program provides a non-competitive, supportive environment that nurtures creative expression. Ages 11-15.

Sharon Art Studio: T.G.I.F. Fun: Drawing in the Park
A fun drawing program that takes advantage of our location in Golden Gate Park. Students are taken on weekly walking trips to sketch in scenic locations such as the Japanese Tea Garden and the Conservatory of Flowers. Ages 11-15.
2-3 class sessions on Fridays, June 26 – Aug 14, 9am – 12:30pm | $30 – $60 depending on session

Sharon Art Studio: Museum Daze
Join us for fine art exploration, discussion, and creation by visiting local museums and galleries! This class will alternate days at the Sharon Art Studio and off-site visits to places like the DeYoung, SFMOMA, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, as well as smaller local galleries and art centers (specific destinations vary per session). Ages 11-15.
2-week sessions, Mon – Thurs, 1pm – 4pm, June 29 – August 6 | $190 per session
