Richmond District historian John Freeman will be speaking next Tuesday night at the monthly gathering of the San Francisco History Association.
Hear John talk and show photos about the history of the neighborhood, from its early cemeteries, beer halls and road houses, to its multicultural makeup of today. I’ve been to a couple of presentations by John and one of his walking tours. He’s terrific and I guarantee you’ll learn something new about the Richmond.
John’s talk is Tuesday, October 27 at St. Philip’s Church, 725 Diamond Street (between Elizabeth Street & 24th Street) at 7pm. The event is free for SFHA members, $5 for non-members.
