Sunday Streets will be back again in 2010, and the dates have been announced. Our district will once again host two of them:
– April 11: Along the Great Highway, coinciding with World Health Day’s “1,000 Cities, 1,000 Lives†international event, as one of thousands of cities hosting simultaneous car-free events worldwide.
– August 22: Great Highway/Golden Gate Park
There will be nine Sunday Streets events in 2010, more than last year, and each event will run for an extra hour.

Thanks, Mr Feroz. How strange! Yes, maybe they jumped the gun with the release? The dates definitely line up (both Sundays and there is a World Health Day with that theme in 2010 on that date). I added a little note to the post. We’ll see what pans out…
