KQED’s Forum also devoted a recent episode to the iconic Richmond District theme park. Hosted by Scott Schafer, the show includes interviews with historian James Smith who is writing a book on Playland’s early years, Marv Gold and Richard Tuck, both part of Playland-Not-at-the-Beach in El Cerrito, and Tom Wyrsch, the filmmaker behind “Remembering Playland”.
