Next Wednesday, April 14, the Richmond District Library will host a program called “Exploring Southwest China and Llhasa, Tibet”. The presenter is Molly McCahan, a freelance travel writer and world voyager who’s visited 32 countries on five continents. She writes a column for Examiner.com.
Molly will give a slide presentation on her six-week adventure in southwest China and Lhasa, Tibet. Come experience the quieter side of China, as Molly takes you through the Quaint Yunnan Province towns of Shangri-La, Lijiang, and Dali, and explores the unique landscape of the Stone Forest near Kumming.
Don’t miss the change to explore magical Lhasa, Tibet, and its environs, including the Potala Palance, Kohkang Temple, historical monasteries and Namsto Lake!
The event is free and begins at 6:30pm at the Richmond Library, 351 9th Avenue.
