I stopped by the playground this afternoon and was surprised to see an opening in the fence. I walked in and took a look around. A worker there told me that final inspection was taking place, and they were waiting on a sealant to dry on the seatwalls. He said the park could be open as early as Saturday onhealthy ativan lorazepam morning, so be on the lookout!
The grounds looked great – shiny new equipment, vibrant lawns, and clean landscaping. Even the skateboard deterrents on the seat walls were cute.
Let’s hope the final inspection went well. If you get on the playground tomorrow, leave your review in the comments!

Stopped by Saturday.
The fence is still up – groundskeepers were weeding the outside area.
They knew nothing about the opening day.
Looks good though.
Thanks for the update, Smitty. You saved me a trip out there to document a possible opening day. 🙂
For what it’s worth, I suspect they’ll just open a panel or two of fencing once they’re open, then get a crew out there to take it all down.
Tick tock, get ready to rock!

We’ve heard a couple dates. last was I think the 24th or 27th of April. yeah, it’s still locked up over there.I’ll bet they take down all the fences and whatnot before they call it “open”
We are very disappointed that the park is not open! To us, who live a block away and have been looking underneath the fence every day for what seems an eternity, it appears to have been finished for at least two weeks now. What could possibly be the hold up?
PS we totally snuck in yesterday and the place rocks 😉
^ You lawbreaker you! 😛
Yeah, it is frustrating. I don’t know what the delay is either. I was told last Friday there were having their final inspection. But hey, it’s the city so you know how it goes. Hopefully by this weekend? Fingers crossed.
