Tomorrow the de Young kicks off the 26th annual Bouquets to Art exhibition. Beautiful, fresh flower arrangements are prepared and displayed alongside pieces in the de Young’s collection.
Bouquets to Art 2010 celebrates the upcoming landmark Impressionism exhibitions from the Musée d’Orsay that will be on view at the de Young Museum shortly after the close of Bouquets to Art.
Bouquets to Art only runs from April 20-24 (we’re talking fresh flowers here!), but you can still score some free tickets from RichmondSFBlog. Just use the contact form to send me an email with the name and address of any flower store in the Richmond District. Winners will be drawn randomly from correct entries.
Because this exhibition is so short, the deadline for entries is noon tomorrow. I’ll be giving away two pairs of tickets.
If you don’t win, tickets are available online at the de Young website. $20 Adult, $17 Senior (65+), $16 Youth (13-17), Children 12 and under are free.
Bouquets to Art can be seen Tuesday through Saturday, April 20 – 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. with extended hours on Friday, April 23, until 8:45 p.m.
Good luck!
