The Cliff House is hosting another history night on Tuesday, May 4 from 6-8pm. The topic for the evening will be the 1909 Cliff House from construction to the present day restoration.
The guest speaker will be Carrie Strahan, formerly of the National Park Service. Carrie was the historical architect who coordinated much of the remodeling project. She will share photos of the interior during reconstruction and discuss some of the surprises they encountered during the project.
The event will include complimentary appetizers and a no-host bar.
Due to the popularity of Cliff House History nights, an RSVP is now required to attend. They have limited seating capacity in their Terrace Room so if you plan to attend please respond to guest@cliffhouse.com. Include the number of people in your party, their full names, and Cliff House History Night in the subject line.
Special thanks to Sutro Baths historian Tom Bratton for the tip.
