After their accidental (?) leak last week of their big acts, the Outside Lands festival officially announced the full lineup of the two day music festival that will take place in Golden Gate Park on August 14th and 15th.
Saturday’s headliners include Furthur, featuring Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, formerly of the Grateful Dead. Also stepping on stage will be The Strokes, My Morning Jacket, Gogol Bordello, Wolfmother, and about a dozen more bands.
As revealed last week, Sunday’s big name is Kings of Leon, along with Phoenix and Social Distortion. Al Green will also be on hand with the classics, as well as The Whigs, The Temper Trap and Empire of the Sun.
In the leak last week, Blackstar was listed to perform but they are not on the final list. See the full lineup at sfoutsidelands.com
Tickets also went on sale today for 2-day passes. An advance 2-day ticket is $125 with a limited number available. Once those sell out, a regular 2-day ticket will set you back $140. VIP tickets for the full festival are also available for $395 which includes special seating, VIP restrooms, a commemorative poster and more.
Single day tickets will go on sale this Sunday, June 6 at 10am for $75 each, $225 for a VIP ticket.
Rock on!
