  1. Ridiculous. Thank god they didn’t go after a poor kid just enjoying a day at the park.

Time to get these gutterpunks and their vicious animals out of there.

  2. SFGate is reporting one was a pitbull mix. I wish SF would get more serious about enforcing leash laws.

  3. it’s no mystery to me. there are homeless guys living in full on tent cities all around in the undeveloped areas by Lloyd Lake and Elk Glen. It’s been getting worse all summer, I see it when I go jogging. a huge filthy dangerous mess. I’m sure this is where the unleashed vicious dog attack came from. I was going to call the cops about it even before this attack but I thought: everybody knows already, if the cops wanted to do something they would do it

  4. There’s no proof that these dogs belonged to homeless people. Homeless people’s dogs are generally more socialized than the ones that live in houses since they’re outside all the time. Many people who live in houses do not have the time for their dogs and usually cannot handle walking them, in this case, there’s no telling. Stop jumping to conclusions and being over run by media’s efforts to create mass hysteria. The number of homeless people is at an all time low. I find this surprising since more and more people have been losing their jobs in california. Put two and two together. Once you kick these people out of the park where are they going to go? Your doorstep? Everyone has to sleep somewhere so get over your money driven selves.
