If you’re coming back from Marin late on Saturday or on Sunday morning, be aware that the ramp from southbound Doyle Drive/Highway 101 to southbound Highway 1/Park Presidio Boulevard will be closed between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m.
To accommodate construction on the new Presidio Parkway project, the overnight ramp closure will last from 10pm on Saturday, August 14 until 11am on Sunday, August 15 (13 hours). The closure is necessary to shift the southbound Highway 1 offramp to the north and continue Highway 101/1 interchange improvements.
The best alternative to get back to the Richmond District is to exit immediately after the Golden Gate Bridge toll booths as you come into the city. From there you can wind through the Presidio to the Arguello, 15th Avenue or 25th Avenue gates.
