As the playoffs progressed, I kept noticing a Richmond District resident who was posting pics of his pain and joy as the Giants won, lost, and eventually clinched. I thought it would make a nice photo essay that I am sure other Giants fans can relate to. Meilev, enjy the World Series. As much as you can anyway; I know it’s torture.

Oct. 7 vs. Atlanta “Giants win!”
Oct. 8 vs. Atlanta. “Giants lose. Hey, if there wasn’t any torture, it wouldn’t be Giants baseball.”
Oct. 10 vs. Atlanta. “Giants win? I don’t know what’s real anymore.”
Oct. 16 vs. Philadelphia. “Giants win. Well, that was pleasantly unexpected.”
Oct. 17 vs. Philadelphia. “Giants lose. Expecting it doesn’t make it any less painful.”
Oct. 20 vs. Philadelphia. “Giants win. I have a mini ulcer, but it’s worth it.”
Oct. 21 vs. Philadelphia. “Giants lose. We were foolish to hope that this would be easy”
Oct. 23 vs. Philadelphia. NL Champions! “Giants win! A lot of happy.”
Wow. I think the magnitude of the wins and losses for everyone I shared watching the games with was multiplied by 10x. I think every -and–black–blooded Giants fan can relate to “My stomach hurts.”
The final pic should be “How much are tickets?!?!” Lol.
Cool pics.
Thanks, Sarah, for using my photos! I wasn’t sure if anyone except for me and Ken (my charming subject) would think this was funny. Still have one last torturous series to go….
Ah, and here I thought they were self-portraits all this time! Thank Ken for being such an entertaining subject for the series. 🙂 Go Giants!

Please, PLEASE, can one Giant, just once, hit a grand slam in the second inning so we can all relax for a little while? Pretty please?
Anyone know a good local pub to watch the game?
Good question, PalmerSF. I asked readers on Twitter and FB, let’s see what they recommend…
First suggestion: Hockey Haven, 3625 Balboa at 37th Avenue
Second suggestion: Pizza Orgasmica, table top liters of beer!
I was shootin’ for the Tee-Off, but the bigger the TV the better. 🙂
