Everyone uses the internet these days when they’re making travel plans, whether it’s to look up the best deals, book flights, find hotels or simply explore photos of your destination. But sometimes it can be too much – how do you know which websites to trust and which to click away from?
This Wednesday at 6:30pm, the Richmond District Branch Library welcomes City College computer instructor Nick Maffei, who will discuss how the internet has changed today’s travel landscape, and how to use it to enrich your travel experience, particularly in Europe.
Maffei will share travel web sites that can provide you with free information that you once paid for, and he’ll tell you which sites are virtually useless. Learn travel and lodging tips that can save you time and money on your next trip.
The lecture is free and takes place at the Richmond District Branch Library, 351 9th Avenue, at 6:30pm.
