If you haven’t shopped the early blocks of Clement Street in awhile, I encourage you to add it to your holiday shopping repertoire. There are a lot of great gift boutiques, clothing and children’s stores where you’re sure to find gifts for everyone on your list (and maybe a few things for yourself).
This weekend, several of the merchants on the first few blocks of Clement Street are working together to offer holiday shoppers a special discount and experience this holiday season.
On Friday and Saturday night from 6pm until 9pm, the stores listed below will stay open and offer specials including 10% off, snacks and drinks in store, plus free gift wrap. On Saturday night, Santa Claus will be on hand in the first block of Clement for free pictures, and some of the shops will be running extra specials, detailed below.

Covet, 391 Arguello: Featuring jewelry from local designers Adrienne Wiley of Frolick Jewelry and Liza Anongchanya of Ofina Jewelry, plus a well edited selection of bags and other accessories.
Kookle Toys, 6 Clement: New to the neighborhood, this fun store features a wide selection of well-made, interactive toys like board games, puzzles, science kits, hand-crafted cars, construction kits and more. Bring in a slightly used toy for the SFFD Toys for Tots bin, or buy a new one in store and Kookle will cover half the cost!
Period George, 7 Clement: One Yelp reviewer writes: “Lavishly beautiful store filled with antiques and found items, mostly china and silver, like what Miss Havisham’s would look like with a bit of spit & polish (and of course, minus the biterness).”
Urban Color, 12 Clement: One of a kind gifts and home decor. You’ll find a plethora of luxurious candles, scarves, handbags and artwork mixed among high end designer pillows, glassware & vases. The studio also offers children’s art camps; purchase a winter camp and they’ll donate 10% of the fee to the SF Boys & Girls Club.
Fleur’t, 15 Clement: An upscale boutique featuring flowers, jewelry, candles and other home decor items.
Polka Dot Children’s Accessories & Gifts, 202 Clement: A boutique featuring children’s clothing, accessories and gifts.
Kisha Studio, 210 Clement: A neighborhood boutique carrying various up-and-coming designer styles of dresses and tops along with an assortment of accessories.
SeedStore, 212 Clement: A boutique and collaborative space that offers men’s and women’s apparel, plus vintage goods.
Park Life, 220 Clement: Featuring hard to find, limited edition, and unique items including books (art, type, design, photography, etc.), modern design objects, prints, paper goods, tee-shirts, homewares, jewelry, artist multiples, original art and more.
