RichmondSFBlog reader cecilyw tweeted me tonight at 9pm to say that her power was out at 17th Avenue and Fulton. She didn’t get power back until midnight.
On my way home tonight, I saw a PG&E truck working at Clement and 17th Avenue around 7:30pm. Don’t know if it was related.
Were you affected by the power outage? And if so, did you get an explanation from PG&E as to why?

It was the entire block of 17th between Fulton and Cabrillo from 8:30-11:45pm. Apparently, there was a downed power line and “they had to turn off power to de-energize the line for repair”. So sayeth the customer service folks at PG&E.
sort of related: Our power was out Tuesday night from about 5:15 to 7:45pm. It was out on Geary to Clement between 23rd I believe and 19th. (Could be slightly wrong on those intersections, but it was at least 4 blocks.) I don’t know why, but there were PG&E trucks driving around looking for the problem.
