Surfer/videographer colinbogart captured this video of some aquatic friends that joined him on his outing at Ocean Beach this morning around 7:30am. You can see some dolphins and a whale blowing off some steam around the :40 mark.
The porpoises are a welcome site in the Bay. It’s been 65 years since they’re cruised our waters according to the Farallones Marine Sanctuary Association. If you’re into it, they are also offering a Porpoise Watching & Walk at Crissy Field on Saturday, May 21.

so cool. great video. 65 yrs? i saw a pod of porpoises about 2 yrs ago off lands end trail.
and i saw a pod below the gg bridge in feb 2006. glad they’re around
i saw three dolphins off sloat last year. very cool!
