I’ve driven or walked by this nice door many times, and I’ve always wondered what it says or what is its purpose. It’s on California between 10th and 11th Avenues.
Is it a business? If you know, leave a comment with the answer!

I don’t speak Korean but I can read the characters. It says “Mi Yong Sil” which, using Google, appears to mean “hairdresser”.
I asked someone who knows Korean. Apparently it’s a hair salon?
Thanks, guys! Very interesting, the last thing I would have expected!

Thanks for solving that – always wondered what that was!
I have wondered as well. I had always hoped it was some secret and delicious korean BBQ place… Oh well.
A hair salon? Mr. and Mrs. Solo have fallen on hard times.
now i know where i can check out a new place to get a haircut… if its not too expensive
There has long been a fine wood carving/woodworking establishment of that name in Chinatown with a very similar logo. Perhaps the shop is downtown and Mr. Han’s residence is in the inner Richmond?
