This Saturday marks the 7th annual Richmond District Health Festival which will be held at the Richmond Recreation Center, 251 18th Avenue, from 10am until 2pm.
The Health Festival will feature free clinical health services including blood pressure tests, body mass index tests, body fat tests, allergy advice, hearing tests, eyeglass cleaning, dental screening, bone density tests, Hep B screening and medical reviews.
The fair will also offer free giveaways, food, health education from more than 40 community health organizations, children’s activities and family fun.
The health fair is a partnership between Senator Leland Yee, Richmond District Supervisor Eric Mar, Kaiser Permanente and several local health service organizations.

I hope they do not have again a chiropractor booth. Typically, they use a bogus diagnostic of two scales to stand on with your two feet. They then say your body is unbalanced and you need chiropractic adjustments. It’s a total fraud and has no place in a so-called ‘Health Fair’.
