This Saturday, join the San Francisco Amateur Astronomers for their San Francisco City Star Party at Lands End.
This is a great opportunity to see various cosmic items including the moon and some planets, as well as star clusters, nebulas, and even a few galaxies. Telescopes large and small will be set up for viewing.

The star party begins at 7:00pm on Saturday, August 13 and participants should meet up in the large parking area in the Land’s End section on El Camino Del Mar near Point Lobos Avenue. Click here for specific directions and exact location.

Just curious, but with the way the fog has been lately, will it be possible to view anything?
