A team completes the “Crowd surf a stranger” challenge at a CLASH scavenger hunt
CLASH (California League of Adult Scavenger Hunters) is back this Saturday night with another Richmond District-themed scavenger hunt:
Unleash fury upon the Inner Richmond’s Clement Street as your team solves riddles, finds hidden clues, discovers quirky facts, and battles other teams for bonus points. You’ll even learn where Wyatt Earp used to live! Come as an individual, a pair, trio or your own team of 6. There is ample drinking along the way as you set out to conquer Clement! This is not your grandma’s scavenger hunt.
CLASH hunts are a 60 minute free for all as your team performs as many of the designated challenges as possible, taking photos along the way as proof. When time ends you meet back at the bar and hand in your camera. The photos are projected and the judges give points. The winning team is determined and bestowed with a prize.
The Conquisition of Clement Street hunt begins with a check-in and liquid courage fueling from 7:15 – 7:45pm, with the hunt beginning at 8pm. Hunt begins and ends at Ireland’s 32, 3920 Geary.
You can register in advance on the CLASH website for $15 per person (up to a team size of 6) or on the night of the event for $20 per person ($99 for a 6 person team).
On your mark, get set…

“Conquisition”? Sorry — there is no such word in the English language. The noun is “conquest” — so, “The Conquest of Clement Street.”
Only after we’d publicized the event did we realize we’d just invented a new word. L’chaim!
