This Sunday, the SF Bike Coalition is hosting their 5th Annual Family Biking Day. Enjoy a day in the park with fun bike-related family activities, like the Freedom from Training Wheels program and a Bike Road-eo course that teaches two-wheelers with and without training wheels basic bicycling skills.
The event also features a Family Bicycling Showcase where you can check out baby bike seats, trail-a-bikes, Xtracyclies and other family friendly two wheelers. You can also participate with your family in games, a bike parade, a scavenger hunt and more.
Sports Basement will also be on site to offer free bike maintenance and tune ups.
Here’s the highlight of activities taking place at the festival:
Bike Road-eo | 11am-12:30pm & 1:30-2:30pm

Freedom From Training Wheels | 11:30am-1:30pm
A group effort to get our kids to ride on two-wheels.
Family Bike Activities with League Certified Instructors | 12:30pm to 1:30pm

Family Biking Showcase | 12-1pm
Get advice from vendors on bicycles and other equipment to get your family around by bike.
Parents’ Family Biking Showcase & Mixer | 12-1:30pm
