The team at Green Apple Books on Clement has put out some funny videos in the last couple of years, several of them taking jabs at their online, non-sales-tax-paying competitor, Amazon.
In honor of the upcoming Presidential election, they tackle the subject again – humorously – and encourage you to “Vote Indie!” and shop locally for your books.

I support Green Apple, really want to, but they never crack a smile, and when I ask for help on something, they act as if I’ve interrupted some ground-breaking moment of their lives. So while I resist Amazon, I have found myself venturing over to Books Inc where it might not be as “cool, indie, and alternative” as Green Apple, but they smile, have a great selection, and did I mention that they smile?
