It’s time to laugh! This Sunday is the 32nd Annual Comedy Day festival in Golden Gate Park, featuring 40+ comedians over 5 hours in Sharon Meadow.
Comedy Day was founded in 1981 as a way for Bay Area comics to say thank you to fans for their support and to The City that has nurtured so many comedians. Since then, more than 700 of the world’s funniest performers have given the gift of laughter to over a half-million people at Comedy Day.
The festival kicks off at noon and runs until 5pm at Sharon Meadow in Golden Gate Park. Grab your picnic blanket and snacks, and head on over to tickle your funny bone. It’s free!
And if you can’t stay for the whole event, check out the schedule so you can decide who you want to see. Will Durst is one the headliners that will perform during the last hour of the festival.
And you never know who will show up – Robin Williams stopped by last year. 🙂
