Many remember Brian Boitano for his gold medal win in figure skating at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada. But his later in life career has revolved around his other passion – food.
He’s been the host of “What Would Brian Boitano Make?” on the Food Network since 2009. In each episode, Boitano hosts get-togethers at his San Francisco home.
On Monday night, he tweeted some photos of his dinner at Chapeau! on Clement Street. We’re not sure if he ate there on Monday or was just getting around to sharing pics from a recent meal there.
His photos highlighted the restaurant’s Prince Edward Island mussels and Veggie Napoleon dishes, as well as their Blood and Sand cocktail. Boitano shared the pics via forkly.com, where he gave “Loved it!” ratings to the Veggie Napoleon and cocktail, and a “Liked it” to the mussels.
We also asked Brian via Twitter about his experience at Chapeau, to which he replied:
@richmondsfblog Chapeau was fantastic.Every dish = delish. Great atmosphere too- simple and inviting.
