This Saturday at 5pm, author Anne Lamott will be at St, James Episcopal Church (4620 California Street) for a free event.
She will be in San Francisco to discuss her memoir of grandmotherhood, Some Assembly Required: A Journal of My Son’s First Son as well as her latest work, Help, Thanks, Wow.
Anne Lamott is the author of the New York Times bestsellers Some Assembly Required, Grace (Eventually), Plan B, Traveling Mercies, and Operating Instructions, as well as several novels, including Imperfect Birds, Rosie and Crooked Little Heart (books by Anne Lamott). A past recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and an inductee to the California Hall of Fame, she lives in Northern California.
Copies of her books will be available for sale and signing at Saturday’s event, courtesy of Green Apple Books. Parking is available at the Peabody School lot on 7th Avenue between California and Clement.
