CAPTAIN SHARON FERRIGNO’S MESSAGE
The warm weather is here and so are many visitors. We will have electronic signs posted to warn visitors to remove their valuables from their cars to prevent vehicle break-ins. Please take the time this week to check your own vehicle and be sure that you have both a front and a rear license plate. We have seen a rise in stolen license plate reports. Criminals steal license plates and put them on their cars to commit crimes and avoid detection.

She told the officers, she was just “tweaking” and waiting for her boyfriend to return. Officers noticed several bags on the ground next to her as well as orange hypodermic needle caps. She was asked if she had any illegal contraband and told the officers she had some “paraphernalia” in the bag. Officers located methamphetamine and heroin in the bags. The 25 year old female was charged with narcotic violations.

They were described as black males, 16-18yrs; one wearing a light blue hooded sweatshirt, the second was in all black clothing.
I have no more sympathy for people, oblivious to the world, while on their cell phones––especially dumb women, walking late in the night––I see them all the time and think to say something to them, but then I figure that me––the one guy that might actually help them––would be the one that they scream at and claim, “white male, 6’1″ glasses and a tie” tried to take my cell phone . . . and what about muni––they play those useless recordings about graffiti, so why not a message asking people to pay attention.
Damn Bob, victim blaming robbery victims, how pleasant.
I want to thank all the young, responsible Black men of the world for not perpetuating the stereotype that they’re all crooks. Seriously guys above, you do more harm than you know.
And careful “bob”, in the comments…your misogyny is showing.
To Bob:
The cell phone assaults happen during the day as well. As seen above, notably at 2:20pm it clearly states. Males are targets as well as anyone with a cell phone. I wonder who is appearing like a dumb a** now Bob?
To Doug and Fiddles, thank you.
