CAPTAIN SHARON FERRIGNO’S MESSAGE
We have been very busy this week. We bid a fond farewell to 8 of our colleagues who retired and we wish them the best of luck and long healthy lives as they move on to the next chapter in their lives. We are grateful for their service and friendship over the past 30 years.

Richmond Station officers arrested a group of juveniles, strong arm robbery suspects. As the juvenile suspects were high fiving each other after the commission of their crime, their elation soon wore off as arresting officers swooped in and took them into custody. I cannot emphasize enough, the importance of paying attention to your surroundings and avoid texting, talking on the phone and using tablets in public places. We become so engrossed in our devices that we forget to take note of where we are and who is around us.

On behalf of the women and men of Richmond Station we wish each and every one of you a safe and happy 4th of July.

Our next Community meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 6pm. It will be in the Community Room, here at Richmond Station, 461 6th Ave.
